The Philosophy of Independent Living, maintains that individuals with disabilities have the right to choose services and make decisions for themselves. This belief is the foundation and guiding principle of all of policies and operations of the Southeast Center for Independent Living. SCIL provides training,information and support to help consumers achieve individual goals, experience personal growth and participate fully in community life.
